Dr. Hanssen Li is the Co-Lead and Co-Principal Investigator of BIMIT Lab.
Dr. Li is passionate about blending data science and machine learning with medical device and health tech innovations. Drawing on his extensive background, including roles as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, a Healthcare Data Analyst/Full Stack Programmer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and positions at the NIH and Emory University, Dr. Li is dedicated to transforming patient care and healthcare processes through technology.
His collaborations with engineers at Georgia Tech have led to numerous grant-funded projects advancing groundbreaking medical technologies. Additionally, Dr. Li plays a pivotal role as a clinical lead in various Georgia Tech Capstone courses and has developed multiple software applications that integrate large language models.
