Emory I3 Venture Award

Our team of Investigators were recently awarded an Emory Imagine, Innovate, Impact (I3) Grant from the Emory School of Medicine with our collaborator Dr. Woon Hong Yeo to develop an ion-selective, sensor-integrated central venous catheter for continuous monitoring in critically-ill patients. Our team anticipates the continued development and expansion of this technology will allow for decreased blood draws contributing to hospital acquired anemia and its known associated morbidity and mortality.
